Progressive Senator Named Legislator of the Year

I’m excited to have been recognized by Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility (VBSR) as Legislator of the Year! I’m being honored for my work in passing laws that support socially responsible businesses and my leadership role in the passage of the GMO labeling law. When announcing the award they wrote:

“Senator Zuckerman has worked more than 15 years to bring transparency to Vermont’s food system. The passage of the nation’s first ‘no strings attached’ GMO labeling bill positions Vermont on the forefront of a growing movement, and is a testament to David’s adept legislative skill and his ability to work across aisles.”

More Endorsements – The list of organizations and elected officials endorsing my campaign is growing! This week I’m proud to have received the endorsement of Congressman Peter Welch, Professional Firefighters of Vermont, and UA Local 693 Plumbers and Pipefitters. You can show your endorsement by placing a Zuckerman sign on your lawn. Please reply to this message if you would like one delivered.

Early Voting – Vermont makes it easy and convenient for you to vote by offering early voting at your town office. You can take advantage of that now during hours of operation.  If you need a ballot mailed to you, simply call your town office.

Print Ads – I’m excited to be placing ads highlighting being recognized as Legislator of the Year in 2013 by Renewable Energy of Vermont and in 2014 by Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility. Please help me spread this news far and wide with a donation to my re-election campaign today.

Thank you for all your support.
